   As a prop & movie trinket collector I bought this as one of the cheapest options out there, The Helmet itself is quite flimsy but sturdy enough if its a display piece only (If you intend to wear for cosplay it might need a fiberglass or similar strengthen). The base colour paint job is fine and the colours match up pretty well although the silver stress marks are very poorly done! and don’t appear on my helmet as they do in the pictures it seems they are literally splashed on at the factory with little care or effort with a thick blunt paintbrush. I haven’t tried removing the silver paint yet but worst case it could be touched up with some basic painting skills and a small dabbing sponge.I can also confirm the the Visor is also 100% see through with no tint at all, although again if its a display piece the black on the inside of the helmet hides this quite well, But cosplayer’s would have to tint this somewhat to achieve the true look. My helmet arrived all in one full size piece although it does look like it could be split if needed.All in all its a good purchase and the best option out there considering the price.

   Delivery was really quick, it arrived within a few days. I ordered it to display in a cabinet along with my Boba Fett Collectible figures. It looks a lot more expensive then it is. It looks great displayed behind glass with LED lights on. Like other reviewers have pointed out it’s not exactly 100% accurate but for the price I am really happy with it.I love it so much I just ordered the Jango Fett version.

   The Product description states that this helmet will fit most people 14+ but it seems like it’s mostly catering for giants. I couldn’t believe the width of it when I saw it. It is decent quality though, although would’ve been better if the visor had been dark plastic instead of clear. It steams up pretty easy too.

   Got sent a used one even though I purchased a NEW one. It got delivered covered in dust and has scratches all over it which aren’t part of the design. Definitely not worth the price at all

   * Please note – I re-painted my helmet.A fairly cheaply made full-size replica helmet of the character Boba Fett from the original Star Wars movies.I bought it during the 2020 lock-down in order to repaint it as a project to keep me busy.It’s moulded from thick styrene plastic, coloured green and burgundy (with black accents on the ‘cheeks’) with a beige ‘ear’ section. It can easily be ‘popped’ apart if you need to modify or repaint it.I did repaint mine as the product itself comes with a very, very basic ‘splattering’ of silver paint to denote battle damage. The visor is actually clear and not tinted so if you’re modifying it you need to take that into consideration too.Its deceptively roomy inside too so be prepared to add some foam padding to it if you intend to wear it for any length of time.

   I bought two of these helmets for the purposes of modification for cosplay. This helmet is equivalent to the “Target” Boba Fett helmet which is approvable by the Mandalorian Mercs with a bit of modification- specifically filling the dent, building a longer rangefinder stalk, cutting out the rear vents and replacing the visor, which is very transparent on this model.In terms of fit, I am a very big man (2 meters tall) and find it hard to get hats to fit me. This helmet fits snugly, but comfortably, with generous room for modifications such as squirrel cage brush fans, voice modulator microphones etc. Ditto for my partner, who, while shorter and much smaller than I am, has a lot of hair. This helmet is comfortable and roomy, and good quality for the price.As a cosplay item, minus modification, I’d say that the biggest thing that hurts it is the fact that the visor is very see-through, which, while helpful for seeing, spoils the faceless bounty hunter effect. Also, the silver “damage” paint on the helmet is very slapdash, with pretty obvious brush lines and big gaps visible. However, these didn’t impact my enjoyment, as I’ve long since sanded, cut and repainted away all the issues that would otherwise be present. In my experience, if you wish to remove the silver and redo it yourself, isopropyl alcohol and a handful of cotton buds will do the trick if you have the patience.
