This was bought for my daughters costume for World Book Day. The hat looks great, but the hair was not as full as it looks on the photo. Also, as another reviewer suggested (add cardboard to the hat for firmness). I cut a slit on the inside and inserted the card from a cereal box to keep it firm and also use the very same card to at the 10/8 (plain side of course) on the side of the hat with some fabric glue for more authenticity.Delivery date changed when I made the order, so thought it wouldn’t arrive in time … but it did … one-day before. Phew!Daughter loved the hat, I loved the price – everyone was happy.

Not a bad price for what you get but the picture is a bit misleading as it is not as good as the one in the picture but with a bit of tweaking it looked good.Tweaked as follows:1. Added cardboard to the column to strengthen it (just opened on of the seams and slid it in)2. The hair is only two pieces at the side (which made me look more like Noddy Holder than Mad Hatter) which was way too long and annoying so I cut it in half where netting allowed and sewed it into the back of the hat so hair effect was all around3. Made a “In this style 10/6” sign and glue gunned it under the sash along with a better peacock feather, the one supplied was pretty crappy!4. Trimmed a little hair off, added it to some carefully cut tit tape and voila eyebrows!Now I have a hat I am proud of! World Book Day here I come.

Arrived way earlier than expected which is good, I like that it’s not a firm hat, it’s flimsy which allows me to fit it in my bag when travelling, which I wasn’t expecting to be able to do. The hat itself is great, will definitely look good on stage, the hair is on the cheap side, and very flimsy, not stuck to the hat very well, but nothing some glue and scissors won’t fix. Overall a brilliant product, definitely recommend!

I opened this box and was really very chuffed with this hat !,it was far better than expected (due to some of the bad reviews…)Its fun , looks the part and fits well!, what more could you want it even has a peacock feather !The wig attached is also great if you don’t really want to spend any more money on a costume, a little bit of back combing and it would be good to go !..I did purchase a differnt wig but that was down to my son only being Young (6)and he has learning disabilities so may not want to wear it all and opts for just one or the other or none …I’m hoping for both wig & hat ,tbh !🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟So all in all a great hat for a fantastic price ! Bargin!

Better quality hat than I expected. Some have said it’s a bit flimsy but I have found it’s fine and doesn’t need to be reinforced with card or anything. The hair is a bit sparseer than I’d have thought (only on two sides, not all the way around) but it’s not the reason I bought for so I’m not too bothered. Good value for money compared to many similar products. It delivered really quickly too.

Well, what can I say but just FAB!The hat is so big and fits perfectly without falling off.I definitely felt mad as a hatter when I put the hat on to top off my costume.Several times my little Godaughter tried her luck to keep this, but I am so made up with it I will definitely use again.We bubbled at home safely on Halloween and even our little friend Frank the Frenchie got to wear it for a bit!Good value for money and much cheaper that if I had purchased at my local fancy dress shop!Thank you.

It was a sham i tell you! A falsehood ‼️ Be cautioned.No but jokes aside the hat that arrived was pretty.. It just wasn’t this. The one that came was shiny and metallic and purple. It was nice but not what i was looking for. I kept it though cause i liked it.
