Buttons and collar printed on. Bought for a Victorian Fancy Dress at nursery. The other girls had been elsewhere and all had a similar dress but made in better quality, less shiny fabric. The only redeeming feature was that my daughter was very happy that the bottom part of her Apron was not sewn onto the black dress so it was more “swishy” than the others. If you catch this fabric with the velcro from shoes it is ruined. Will withstand one use before it looks terrible. It was ok for me as I had a days notice to get a costume but if I had more money I would spend £5 more on something better. My daughter is in age 5-6 clothes and the Medium was perfect for a tall, thin child of about this age. Would not buy for a 6/7yr old or younger than 4, try another size.

We ordered this costume for our daughter aged 6 as she was going on a Victorian themed school trip.We ordered it through Amazon Prime and therefore got it the next day. We were unsure of the sizing, so ordered both medium and large. The medium was perfect overall fit for her, although a little short it the arms, but the large buried her.It is very well made and it survived the day long school trip and came out the other side undamaged and intact (to my surprise). The pinney is sewn and attached to the main dress and the the costume involves the bonnet. We simply coupled this with her usual school tights and shoes and it completed the look brilliantly.Overall very good quality and a very good price. Would recommend.

Very good quality for a fancy dress costume! We have a very small 5.5 year old and the 5-6 fit perfectly just a little longer than would normally get (to the ankles). Would recommend for dress up days at school!

Bought for 5 year old daughter to wear for her Victorian day at school. Size fit her well and was long enough on her arms and length. The collar was printed on so could have looked a little more realistic. Also, the material, like others have said, was very shiny, but these were not a problem as she was very happy with it. I cannot comment on the durability or how it washed as it tore after one wear on the seam, this may have been from her playing roughly, or just may not have been the best quality. Overall, however, a good outfit for the price I paid.
