Minor adjusting needed for a size 16, 38D chest, I simply do not fit into the L costumes because I am oddly proportioned but I praise this costume on its accuracy and length, the length is perfect – not a ‘sexy’ Dorothy, very accurate. Don’t expect much from the underkskirt apart from itching! The rest is comfy though tight on the tops of the arms I am still able to move. Worst point, the brace straps are about five inches too long! They need cutting, folding and sewing back down! No ones busy is THAT big!

I wanted to properly review this dress as struggled myself when buying. I first ordered adult STN size (10-12). It did fit as I am a small/regular 10 but it was not very flattering. I returned and ordered the TEEN size (size 6-8 I think) which fit perfectly and was very flattering. The arms were slightly tight. I considered letting them out but didn’t in the end. I just needed help taking it off as couldn’t alone. But the fit was much much nicer that it wasn’t an issue. Just be aware that STN SIZE is made to fit up to a large size 12 so if you want the dress to be fitted and you’re more of an 8/10 you’ll be better with a TEEN size. The costume is good quality for the price but the petticoat inside is VERY scratchy. Nothing a pair of high waisted Bridget Jones style pants won’t sort out which is what I did. All in all recommend this costume. Very authentic!

Good costume for the price. Comes with the dress and hair ribbons only. Sizes come up a little bigger than expected but was able to swap the size easily. The straps are a little big and so hang loose but easy enough to fix with a couple of stitches. The skirt netting a little scratchy around the waist though so will need something underneath to make this comfortable to wear for an evening.

This product was a bit of a last minute buy for a world book day costume. It certainly looks like a dorothy outfit and served its purpose for the day. However the underskirt was very itchy as was the elastic around the waste and arms. I had to wear a vest underneath otherwise it would have been quite uncomfortable. With the vest it was fine, but thank goodness it wasn’t a hot day!! Also, you cannot adjust the straps on the dress as they are sewn into the sleeves. Unfortunately they were too big and quite baggy. Overall, a good buy as a last minute thing, but not the most conformable.

Really fantastic outfit (bought with sequin ruby shoes and matching Toto in basket for World Book Day). Lovely colours and design, very like the original. I have knocked off a star as I found it to be a little short. At 5ft 4in, I’m average in height for an adult woman but this came nearly half way up my thigh so I wore a slightly longer white slip under it to bring down the overall length. That being said, all other measurments were absolutely fine. Recommended buy.

Great fancy dress outfit but the under skirt is very itchy so you have to wear something underneath to protect your skin.

Wasn’t sure what the dress would be like after reading quite a lot of mixed reviews. It looks great visually but agree with other with the fit. I’m curvy & under 5ft and the dress is definitely to short even for me. I had to add more trim for extra length. The arms were a little tight so needed altering & the straps needed repositioning. I think it would be good to give the length of the dress too as the packaging image is misleading. I wouldn’t want to put someone off from purchasing the dress though. We all have unique figures so will fit everyone differently. Haven’t worn it yet so can’t comment on comfort

Nice outfit but the sizing is completely off. I am between size 8-10 and I ended up buying the teen size and it fit me much better than the adult sizes. The white material underneath is really scratchy and makes you itch!
