It’s quite fun, but the size is definitely for a smaller adult. If you’re of a bigger build then you might struggle with the waistcoat/jacket. That said, the turban is quite effective (be careful if you get wet – I found the colour from the feather leaks out). The costume worked well, but I doubt it will last for multiple parties.

Son wanted this for a fancy dress party. He is satisfied with it as far as I know, hasn’t complained.

A typical flimsy, thin fabric costume that you would expect to see in a fancy dress shop. The feather in the headdress had to be pinned in place as it dropped forward. The only thing worth the price in the costume is the waistcoat…every thing else did it’s job, but could easily be substituted. The reason I’ve not been too harsh, is price wise compared to what you get, it’s OK. If you really want to impress though, you may want to try something with a little better quality.

For the amount of material involved, I could not have made this any cheaper, so feel it deserves more than the 3 stars people have been giving it!Yes, it is a man made fabric, yes the feather has to have a few pins in it if you want it to stand up(….not too difficult to do) and it has not “fallen apart”, did the trick on our world Book day at school so was pleased………..and has gone in dressing up bag for the future.
