Good value for money. Looks like leather top and gives nice gladiator feeling. My son used it for his school play and looked good in it. Difficult to find a nice helm to go with it. Outfit was used just with the tunic, without the pants which give it more of a medieval feel (I know…).Good value for money.But – very important- I would not recommend bying from Amazon eu as the product never arrived after 2 wks, so we had to buy from alternative supplier. Other reviewers had same experience.

It comes up very big, I heeded the advice on the ratings, and ordered the size down for my 8 year old, which fitted him just right. It’s not really thick fabric, but I just put him in thermals underneath and for the money it’s okay. He felt great on roman day at school so it was worth it.

The outfit was perfect apart from the medium is meant to be for age 6-8, I found it a little to big for my 61/2 yr old, taking into account that he is tall for his age. will prob fit him better in a year or two, otherwise a great product

Going by ages I ordered a medium but then reading some reviews about sizings I cancelled and reordered a small. – he is 5 yrs old and 110 cm tall. Glad I did because the small size was plenty big enough – any larger would have swamped him. One of the graphics is a screen shot of the Ruby size chart and this is more accurate than the ages suggested on the site. The costume was fine although I did have to re stitch the elastic waistband which was coming apart when it arrived – the overall effect was great and my little boy looked the part for his Nativity play.

5 year old grandson loved it but it was way too big, would fit 8-10 year old despite saying suitable for 6-7 year old.

This costume was for my Son’s Roman fancy dress day at school. The costume was ordered in size 5-7 (my Son is 7) but going by some of the other reviews saying the costume was rather large, thought id order smaller size. My order arrived in size 8-10 but so glad it did as this was perfect, didn’t have to alter anything at all.

Needed a costume for History day at school! We have only tried it on for size so far, but my son absolutely loves it!! He cannot wait to wear it for the day!! Love the legging/boot effect! Brill. All very soft and comfortable.

Great that I found roman costume with trousers. It is reasonably quality. The size is bigger too late for exchange but I sewed it which was fine to use.The vest is rolling on the edge but I sewed it to the top too which had stopped rolling.
