   My two youngest girls (4 and 2) both have lost interest in being princesses and now pirates are the order of the day.Having read some reviews on here, I decided to order this outfit from Rubies. At £11.50 incl P&P it seemed a bargain – especially seeing the rubbish being sold on eBay.It was put on as soon as it arrived. Fabulous. The quality is really nice.The top does up with velcro down the back giving it a super little fit. The skirt is silky and a nice length. For my 4 year old, the skirt looks exactly like the picture so no problems that I’ve seen others have had with it being short. The hat is elasticated so fits her head well and, more importantly, stays on when she is playing.I would highly recommend this outfit for any other little lady buccaneers out there. Arrrhhhh, Jane-lass.

   brought this for daughter as she had to dress up at school for pirate day. item was delivered promptly and the item itself is very nice and my daughter loved wearing it for her dress up day, my only negative comment is my daughter is 5 and she a bit bigger than the average 5 year old shes very tall so i ordered the 7-8 as thats the clothes shes in anyway but the velcro at the back did come undone quite a few times but she had a thin top underneath so i would say if your child is bigger than average then go for the size above but the product itself is very nice and well worth the money.

   Really lovely costume in style and quality for my 4 1/2 year old daughter for a school pirate day. She is slim and the 5 -6 size fits her perfectly. If you child is tall or of a stocky build I would suggest you size up. The top has that cheap velcro type closures on be back that don;t work very well so I have added a set of press studs myself. The top is also a tad short on my daughter so we will be adding a white vest so she doesn’t flash her tummy ever time she lifts her arms. The hat is really great and with the soft elastic is stays in place very well. The skirt is nice and full and my daughter is enjoying doing lots of swishing around in it. I will pair it with a pair of her black school tights and black school shoes and the outfit is done.

   This was a bit of a last minute after thought but so glad I got it. 4 yr old niece loves it!! Put it straight on after unwrapping it and has been playing treasure hunt all afternoon with the help of a home made treasure map.For the money, really good value and with the elastic and Velcro, there’s plenty of room to grow so lots of treasure hunts ahead!

   The top is velcro at the back so easy to get on but also easy to pop open. The picture shows a bit of the top open where the belly button it but that’s not the case. It’s closed so great.

   My little girl needed a pirate outfit for nursery and after looking in all the shops we could think of we found this. It arrived really quick and was true to size. She looked absolutely great and asks to wear it most days.
