   I bought this item for my granddaughter to wear to her school’s medieval day. It looks lovely in the photo but the quality is very poor. The sleeves were lined with rough netting and the garment could not be washed or dry cleaned! My granddaughter had to wear a Tshirt underneath to stop it sratching her and the dress will be of no further use after only a day’s wearing. However she did enjoy dressing up in it.

   arrived in time which was the main thing. Colour on picture not the same as actual colour. Quality I bit on the poor side but then only being used for dressing up. fair price paid for what it is. Delivery date was most important thing and it arrived in good time.

   My daughter had an upcoming Tudor Day at school and this was the dress she picked. We ordered the Large Size in it, as although my daughter is only 9, she is tall for her age and I usually have to buy age 12 clothes for her. The dress came very quickly and is really lovely, it is a darker blue than it looks in the picture. The length was fine for my daughter who is approx 138cm tall, however it is very very big around, it actually fitted me! As it was so big, it was falling off her shoulders and much too low in the neckline, so I had to get a friend to make quite a few alterations for me (I cant sew for toffees). Ideally I would have exchanged it for a smaller size but was afraid the smaller dress wouldn’t come in time. It is a really lovely dress and the headpiece is really pretty too, but the sizing is totally wrong I feel.

   You really must buy this for the age your child is as the sizing is quite generous. My daughter is like myself and I had to have it taken in by my fantastic Mum so it fitted her like it does the girl in the photo. Beautiful material and fits in with the medieval banquets we have been to, with many asking us where we got the outfits from! The little head piece makes her itch with the elastic if it goes under the chin, but the outfit is well priced enough for the dress alone xx

   My daughter choose this just from picture she thought it was purple from the image until it arrived was a little bit disappointed but later on when I looked it does say in detail blue. She is nearly 9 and I bought 8 to 10 but was far to big for her but as it was for school I had no time to change it. As a result she tripped over it at school and cut her hand open. She also had to wear a top underneath.

   Very pretty and promptly delivered the next day. My child will have to wear a t-shirt underneath due to dress being slightly see-through, but this wasn’t an issue for us. It was cheaper than trying to make the dress.

   Bought this dress for my 8 year old daughter. It is a beautiful dress but we did have to take the dress up and in as it is more suited for a woman’s size 8-10 not childs age 8-10!
