Perfect fit for our 5 year old to wear to his 6th Birthday coming up.The helmet is not a full head helmet but rather a half head mask held on with elastic. That said it still fits well and more importantly he can easily move around without it falling off and of course see out of it.

Had to return the first one received as the yellow eye shield was distorted and not stuck on correctly so was hanging off the face plate.The replacement suit was better, eye shield glued on correctly but it came off within the first couple of days use. The actual costume is a good fit and my son enjoys wearing it. The material seems to be about average for this sort of costume overall. It has 3 good velcro fasteners at the back so doesn’t pop open like some but there is no adjustment for girth. This suit is designed for the slim to average child. The colours are also less vibrant than those of the picture.Overall, I am satisfied with the purchase but the quality of the face plate was disappointing.NB: The picture doesn’t make very clear that the face plate is just that – it is not a full helmet

My son loves this outfit and it seems to be made from a decent material, however, the mask that was provided had to be repaired before he could use it. The yellow visor had come off the mask, so we had to glue it back on. Other then that, I have one very happy boy.

Rubies have provided us with great costumes before, but I should have checked the reviews. They keep sending out these unattached (glue coated) yellow flimsy plastic visors, the glue chips alone could harm children’s eyes, as we were short for time, tape was used to re-attach the mask. Am only giving 2 stars for the otherwise fun costume.
