This was my teenage son’s choice and to be fair he absolutely loves it. I think that it is overpriced for what you get. The (forgive me all sci-fi experts) pieces that cross over the front are really flimsy and just Velcro stuck on. The hood doesn’t stay in the correct place, slips forward. We have got around this my wearing a baseball cap underneath. The whole effect is good from a distance but I’m not convinced it’s value for money, but my son disagrees and he’s the one who paid for it.

Very pleased with this costume. I’m 6ft and average build and it fits me well. Yellow eyes which are the same as the film, not the red one’s shown in the picture. The eyes are easy to turn on and off. The hood could be a bit more secure to stop it sliding off position but a safety pin or two will solve the problem. Overall very pleased with the costume.

did GOOD JOB FOR THE FANCY DRESS.batteries still working after about 8 hours. have not used it since. eyes yellow rather than red. am 6’2″ and the xl was spot on. a safety pin helps keep the belts stay attached together.

great costume but one of the lights in the mask was faulty – they refunded my money straight away – great service and will be ordering from them again. Ordered a Ray costume as well which was perfect!

Updated review as have been discussing it with the manufacturer, they seem unaware that the eyes are powered by a battery which in my one is soldered in behind sealed plastic. If it was a fully charged 5 year battery when you get it there wouldn’t be much issue changing it once every 5 years. The costume is cheaply made and I believe it is made just to be worn once or twice which is why not much thought has gone into the battery having to be replaced. Anyone who wears it more than once will realise that, also would recommend possibly something inside the head to stabilise it and maybe something to darken the lens. If you take selfies you face shows up in pic through the mask.I’ll be looking for an alternative rather than upgrading that one as nothing really worth salvaging for an improved costume even the eyes.

Bit pricey for what it is, buy a lot of costumes and have had better quality at this price, but if you want to be a Jawa ? Couldn’t find a better one without spending a fortune

Brilliant costume, good finish, fit my hubby who is 186cm tall and M/L size perfectly. The light up mask makes a great effect. I really recommend this costume.

Nice, good quality costume, however the standard size is huge! I ordered this product for my 11 year old son’s school play (couldn’t find a smaller size) and it turned out to be too big even for my husband, who is 183 cm tall.
