my girl is 3 and tall for her age so I bought the small. she normally wears 4-5. the costume was ever so slightly big, the leggings were a bit long and wings have a strap loop that is useless for tightening as one end has to be fixed but its not on the costume – so the wings cant be tightened to suit your child which could be problematic. also they are quite flimsy – some sort of felt. a safety pin or some other homely mod can solve this. the gauntlets were borderline fitting her so sizing across the costume seems a bit inconsistent.overall a nice costume and true to the character its based on.

The actual costume is great the sizing is way to small on the one we got.Read the other reviews so bought the next size up for my 7 year old, she’s normally in 9-10 clothes so bought the larger size and it only just fitted her and the next week after one of those growth sputs was way to small.I would recommend that to take a year of the guide, if it say’s 9-10 it more you average 8-9 year old. Other then that it was good and she loved it for her school superhero day.

I knew the DC Batgirl outfit from any seller on Amazon was going to be a hit or miss because reviews from buyers are all mixed – quality being the main issue. I decided therefore, to buy this ‘deluxe’ version in the hope that it would be of better quality than the costumes that cost say £16.99 but dissappointly it wasn’t. Oddly I’m relieved its just the sleeves which are of poor quality (Don’t have time to return) which my daughter doesn’t have to wear but that’s not really point as I paid more for better quality. I think I’ll buy direct from the stores next time so you actually see the costume yourself. I’ll be contacting the seller.

My daughter LOVED this costumer bought for her super hero day at school. I went by the size suite for her age but it did come up a little big. The accessories in particular such as the belt and arm cuffs, back pack were massive and kept falling down so I bought some iron on Velcro to tighten them and bingo perfect you’d never know 🙂 would have been better of it came with black gloves too to complete the costume but not a big deal, picked up a cheap pair from tesco. The costume as most are, is quite thin so my daughter wore leggings and a top underneath defo would have been very cold without. The stitching and colours looked lovely very good quality. There is a hole at the back at the base of the hood, I assume this is where bat girl has her hair poking through but it’s quite big so also put some iron on velcro here to close the hole up a bit. All in all very happy with the purchase just some minor tweaking needed for a good fit!

Got size large for my 10yr old which fitted her perfectly (she is av build, slender). Pretty good quality though bat wings come folded so were a bit misshapen and mask shape not as good as shown but otherwise we were pleased with it.
