I purchased this outfit as my daughter was having a superhero day at nursery. She chose this costume herself and was very excited. I ordered size 3-4 years. On receiving the item we were extremly disappointed to find that they had sent the wrong size ages 5-8. The packaging looked very crumpled/damaged and looked like it had been returned many times! I took the costume out and it was massive, it would have fit me and i am 5 3″!I returned the item, was refunded but they did not refund my return postage costs.My daughter was left feeling very upset. I looked around and found the same outfit but with actual measuements, I ended up buying the age 2-3 and this just about fit my four yearold (still a little big).I think the age guides need to be looked at and changed on this outfit, they come up far larger than the ages they are stated as. I actually feel it is quite misleading, so think carefully before purchasing!

I bought this item for my daughter who is nearly 12. This was ideal as I saw the reviews about the 8-10 size being too big. This would easy fit a 11-13 year old. Only concern was it is obvious it was a return as the product looked opened and untidy. The belt was slightly faulty on the inside. It is needed for this week so have no time to be fussy. Probably not worth the price but limited in this category. Can’t fault the speedy delivery but I did pay extra. Box far too big for the item.

Product itself was OK but sizing is weird. We ordered the medium (age 5-7) for an 8 year old who is 134cm tall and it is was massive. Even taking into account the sellers warning that the product comes up large we were surprised just how large it was. So if you order, the product seemed fine and reasonable quality but allow yourself time to send back and get another one or order very very small, even if it seems against your better judgement. We ended up returning and not reordering as it was purchased for a school superhero day and we didn’t have enough time to reorder.

Looks as it does in the picture, although the trousers are ridiculously long for a 3 – 4 year old, so I ended up cutting them off. Sizing wise it fitted my 4 year and 11 month old perfectly. But once I rolled up the sleeves and cut off the legs, if was great for my 2year and 9 month old. Both of my children are average size for their age.

Definitely comes up large as my daughter is a tall 6 year old (tallest in her class) and this was big on her. Good costume eady to put on but going to the loo on her own a bit challenging but she managed.

I bought size 5-7, my daughter just turned 5 but she’s quite tall for her age however, the costume is way too big. She needs it ASAP for a drama super hero day so we’ll have to to stick with it & she’ll grow into it (positive outlook).

The custome is super cute, but a bit to big for a 18month baby, when the size is suppose to be for a 1-2year toddler. I had to cut the legs/boots from the rest of the custome (it’s one piece only + the cape) and the upper part fit well, and with some tights and shoes, it save the day! She was really cute!I want to thank the Rubie’s Masquerade UK because I was afraid the custome wasn’t here in time, but it came 1 day before predicted! before the delivery, I wrote to them showing that worry, and they answered me right back saying that if the custome didn’t got here in time, I could deliver without any problem. Fortunately it wasn’t necessary! 🙂

Brilliant costume for the price. My daughter is a tall 4 Year old and it’s a little baggy on the legs but it looks great with the foam boot that sits over their feet.
