I am a size 10 and 5ft 7″ so I ordered this costume in a size small. However, when it arrived and I tried it on it was too big, the straps were too long and it was quite short. I had to ask my friend to take it in a couple of inches at the seams and wore the outfit with little black shorts over my tights.In the end the costume did look good but if I didn’t know anyone who could alter clothes I would have had to send it back.

Decent quality, though far shorter than it looked in the picture, so leggings were a must. Held up for the evening of activities(including gladiator style battles) and will wear again.

This is okay, but VERY short. In fact it was more like a top than a dress. I bought a small and the top gaped open a bit and the ‘skirt’ didn’t cover any of my bum. The gloves were great though and so was the ivy trail, although the ivy hair clip is massive and tacky so I didn’t use that. I paired it with shorts and a long red wig and did get comments on how good it looked. If you don’t mind showing your bum and have a large-ish chest it’d be perfect for you.

Pros: Very fast delivery. Cons: Awful product. If this is DC’s standard for officially licensed product then they deserve to have Ivy take over their headquarters and wreak havoc. I had read previous reviews and knew I was taking a chance on the medium size but I really didn’t expect it to be so bad. Dress: Wouldn’t zip up over my bust (no biggie, it can be hit and miss with many products) BUT, the waistline sagged so much I thought that they had sent me a maternity version in error. As others have said, the skirt is very, very short. I’m 5’6″. The bottom of the skirt sat way above my bum. If I dared to venture outside wearing it, even with tights, I would imagine a very interesting court appearance would follow. The gauntlets: Cheap & nasty mesh and terribly finished. Within 30 seconds of trying them on I had put my finger through one of them, twice (and I was being gentle).Very poor stitching with loose threads, the foam inserts aren’t hemmed so you can see the gap between foam and mesh (and the foam itself in places as the pieces aren’t lined up prior to stitching). The “ivy” that finishes the gauntlets also isn’t hemmed so these pieces are already fraying and look like Jason Voorhees has taken up a new career. The headpiece is nothing more than a plastic hair comb with a couple of small pieces of ivy glued on to it. The boa is OK. I didn’t expect top of the range for the price but I did expect better than this. Unless you are a pregnant dwarf with the touch of a butterfly I would avoid like the plague.

Went for a small as I am a size 8 and 5ft 8 tall…. Top half fitted mostly okay but a bit baggy in places (I’m not the world’s biggest up top so expected to need a couple of stitches to tighten the top anyway). However the ‘skirt’ is tiny and doesn’t even reach my waist never mind lower… I have long legs and a pretty average length body so actually expected it to at least reach my bottom! With alteration, I might be able to wear it as a top. The gloves are very small and the ivy is quite fragile – I would suggest anyone buying leaves plenty of time to try on

Good idea but the dress was way too short. I couldn’t wear it out as it was a lot shorter than percieved from the image so it felt inappropriate.

The company itself are brilliant, the order didn’t arrive and they were more than happy to sort it out. However I have a weird body shape so it’s shorter than in comfortable with but loose around the boobs.
