   Golly Batfans, this is a huge hit! My son wears it with pride EVERYDAY, despite it being a little on the large side for him. He’s not a small 4 but the chest is very big and does impair the eating of beans on toast. The belt, despite being good quality, is a bit of a pain to get on n off (especially with regular toilet trips) but the mask is particularly good. Bearing in mind he now has Spiderman, IronMan, Ben 10, the Hulk, we, as parents, prefer the simplicity (and price) of the Asda costumes. I look forward with anticipation as to how this looks when he fully grows into it but in the meantime am enjoying dad n lad days as I was encouraged to buy a Robin costume on the same day. Eat your hearts out DelBoy n Rodney!

   I bought this item for my little boy, who loves being a super hero. Reading reviews saying the item is too big, i chose the small size, which proved to be a good decision. I like the fact the costume has muscles, it’s not a plain one. Furthermore, it comes with a cape, a mask and a plastic belt. You can stick the velcro tabs under the feet so it looks as if the child is wearing hero’s shoes. The down points are: 1-I wish the costume was made with a better quality fabric. Not sure will last.. which is a pity considering the price. 2- Be very careful with the velcro tabs!! Once they stick to the fabric it rips it apart when pulled off!!! All in all, it’s a cute costume. To see him as a little batman, jumping around, is very heart warming.

   This batman outfit is excellent quality, my 3 year old loves running around in it and it has taken a good hammering with no obvious signs of wear. The sizing is pretty accurate too – my boy is quite tall so we got an age 5 and that fits just fine. It’s great that it’s the original batman outfit, my kids love the old batman movie and my boy loves being batman.The cape fixes under the chin with a bit of velcro and the mask is attached to the cape. The mask itself is a bit small but it’s ok if you pull it down over the face. Even the utility belt is good quality. I have had several rubie’s costumes and they are always excellent quality – worth paying that bit extra for as they give hours of great play.

   Bought this for Christmas for my son, he loves it and is constantly in and out of it.There presentation/packaging wasn’t the best and it’s a bit big on my son but he’s small in all fairness. Very good for money.

   I bought the 3 to 5 year old size for my son who is 4. The costume is a bit big for him so I advise not to buy this size for a 3 year old. It also doesn’t look very comfortable to me. When my son sits down, the top bit of the muscles pushes against his neck and I always worry it may cause him pain. Although he will never admit it because he loves wearing this costume. Hence the 3 stars.
