   The costume is true to color but the size small is actually big enough for a slender 6 year old. My 3 year old is completely dwarfed by the costume although he really likes it. The shoe flaps are actually a bit of a hindrance since I can’t hide the trouser legs underneath as I would have with no flaps. I will try to convince my son the green lantern occasionally uses a belt to tighten the costume so he can start to use it.

   After I had to reorder a bigger sized costume (Medium for 9 year old right) per Express Delivery (£7.99!!!!!!!) and was instead of the 1-2 day delivery slot told per email it would arrive after 4 days… it came 2 days after I had ordered it and just in time for my son’s Halloween Party. The costume’s quality is pretty low, thin cheap material that quickly pulls threads. No padded breast peace like the smaller size has. However, the costume was not faulty and did it’s job, gave my son the satisfaction he needed. I still think, the size labeling needs to be reviewed and corrected.

   great item but was a little bit on the big side for the ages it stated think i could have gone for the next size down ,item was for my 7 year old son, but item was fine good value. postal charges for earlier delivery were a little high though.

   I really like this costume, how it doesn’t have the foam padded muscle chest, there is an elastic strap under the feet you can always shorten with a safety pin or couple of stitches, depending if your child is going to be wearing shoes, there is 2 small bits of velcro on the back as closures for the costume, and the eye mask lets chldren see and breathe, it doesn’t cover their mouth with poor ventilation like most. the only downside of this costume and why it was marked down a star is because the costume is not described properly, go for the age size above, to get the costume to fit, 8 – 10 is to fit a 5 to 7 year old, if that helps, so they have not read the packaging properly. I have had to return my costume (8-10) for a refund as it did not fit my 7 year old son (wears 8 to 9 jumpers), it was slightly too tight, I have had to order it again in the larger size and pay again before the refund will come through as Amazon’s computer system simply will not let exchange it for a larger size

   We also had sizing issues. Because we read a review that said “size=big” we ordered a small (age 4-6) for our large 6-year-old. The size was too small for him, and he was gutted that we have to send this back. I don’t know what’s going on with the reviews about sizing, but we should have ordered the size that said “8-year-old” for our 6/almost 7-year-old. In response to reviewers who said the costume is “paper thin”, we had no problem with the quality — it’s the same polyster/nylon kind of costume fabric that all the children’s costumes are made of. It looks exactly like the picture and my son loved it, but the sizing confusion necessitates that we now must faff about taking it back via Royal Mail. Pain.

   Nice costume. My son wanted this for book day. We originally bought the 8-10 size thinking mum could trim it to size (he’s 6) but it was huge! The 4-6 smaller size is plenty big enough for an average 6 year old.

   Material very poor. Cheap nylon feel clicked within an hour of wearing. BUT my boy loves it and didn’t want to take it off.
