My grandson was over the moon with the Thor hammer and has played with it constantly. The picture shows a leatherette strap – the one supplied with the hammer was brown felt. Felt is not the most durable of materials and it parted from the rivet that held it in. However, I have to be fair and say it was given some real punishment. Carefully with a flat-blade screwdriver, I managed to prise the rivet up enough to slip the felt back in place and then stitched around the felt ensuring the thread went under the rivet head. The real answer is to drill out the rivet, and rivet in a genuine piece of leather for a durable strap, but I guess by the time I did that, the novelty would have worn off and the hammer, yesterday’s toy!

This hammer is amazing, especially for the price.It is incredibly sturdy and well made however it is also very lightweight.My 4 year old son who is obssesed with Thor has this and he has no issues carrying it and playing with it.The weight and sturdiness along with the fantastic design would also make this great for cosplay as it looks as close to a proper replica as it could be without it being metal and heavy.Highly recomend!

Solid build from Asgard.Star metal grants me great strength.Returns to me like a boomerang.Couldn’t be better if the dwarven forge masters had made it from a collapsed star.….(Alright, seriously, it isn’t and doesn’t do any of the above, but it’s a well known prop, so let your imagination run wild.)
