Disappointed with quality of the shield, came with a few marks & scratches. Didn’t buy as used so was somewhat surprised. No time to return it as was for my grandson birthday a few days later. He seems to love it anyway so for the cost and enjoyment he gets from it, outways the initial disappointment.

I have had the same issues that the other reviews warned me about…. strap fixing points snapped. This happened on I think day two, I was sure it wouldn’t happen to my little boy because he is always very careful with his toys. He was absolutely devastated when it happened and I couldn’t leave him like this so I tried what I could to fix it and put a smile back on his face. 15 mins in the garage and a few pop rivets and washer later and boom a happy 6 year old. Granted this repair it’s not ideal but if it happens to you then this idea may get you in the good books with your little ones. (See pics) had it for a few months now and it’s still going strong.

It feels expensive for what it is, but it’s the perfect addition to my sons Captain America costume and he was very happy with it. It did arrive with a few scratches on it which was disappointing but after a using it for fancy dress birthday party it ended up with a few more!

Plastic which retina the handles are too brittle and thin, Amazon replaced the first one, second also broke in the same place. Avoid.

Lightweight, but very flimsy velcro strip to attach to childs hand – bought this for our 4 year old grandsons birthday and it broke the same day – very disappointing
