My 8 year old daughter wears a size 12 and sometimes a size 14 in shirts depending on the brand. She’s not thick, she’s extremely tall for her age, so I’m always nervous ordering any clothing item online for her. We went with a size large and crossed our fingers. To my surprise it was even a tad loose! We are so happy with the fit! I’m also happy that it comes with the leggings (if you can call them that, they’re thin costume material but, knowing typical kids costumes it’s what I expected) AND came with 2 hair clips, a blue and a red one. I didn’t realize it came with that and we were planning on dying her hair but she’s super happy with just using the unexpected hair clips so momma’s happy too! For a childrens Harley Quinn costume, my daughter and I are super happy with it and she can’t wait for Halloween 🙂 Only downfall is she said the sleeves are scratchy but, she’ll have on a long sleeve shirt underneath anyway so that ought to fix that!

Ordered a medium for my 60 pound 9 year old. She generally wears a size 8 (or a medium in kids). For her age she is in the 30% for weight and 40% for height… so not a big girl. The medium was way too small. She could barely fit the top on and the bottoms were very tight on her thin frame. She said the bottoms gave her a wedgy. They did appear to have very short crotch. I immediately re-ordered the same costume from the same Amazon vendor and got a size large. The size large bottoms were huge. I’m talking REALLY BIG! There was no way to make the large work. I thought I could some how do a little sewing and get it to work. Nope, the bottoms were just way too big. They were so big that they fit me! However, the size large top fit her perfect and looked more like a size medium. The material on the top was very stiff. The accessories that came with the costume were great. The belt fit and the colored hair extensions were a great addition and stayed in her hair. Shipping for both the medium and large costumes was super fast.

My daughter to me is average sized and she’s 10 and I bought a large. The costume fit perfectly and came quickly. She liked it. She’s about 90lbsThe bottoms she didn’t like the way the fake shorts looked so she will be wearing real shorts over but it was worth it since she likes it either way!

The top had no stretch but the bottoms had decent stretch. The bottoms are true to size but the top fits small. My daughter wore a tank under the top under it because she said it was itchy.

This is the costume my grand daughter picked for Halloween. It was very thin, she is 8 years old tall & thin, I ordered a medium. She did not like the top as the sleeves mad her itch, she wore long sleeves & pants under it. I thought it looked really cute on her however she didn’t like it & ended up wearing last years costume out

So disappointed, I just open this costume and realized it says medium in the bag and came with large pants and large top as well. Not fun!
