   Like pretty much all fancy dress gear, this is wildly overpriced, but it is an adequate cape for my outfit although I doubt it will make it through the evening intact. I query the seller’s description of this as ‘taffeta’ – that suggests a lush fabric that might be used for ballgowns. This is cheap nylon of the ‘do not put near naked flame’ variety. Other than that an OK purchase if you want to be Hit Girl, Batgirl, Dracula, etc. Will need an iron before I can wear it as the creases it arrived with stubbornly refuse to drop out.

   have read other reviews- mine is not thin or crumpled and is perfect for batgirl/Dracula /zorro- look great on the costume- great value for seven quid

   I bought this one because it was the cheapest I could find for a budget fancy dress costume, but I was a little disappointed still with the quality of the fabric.

   I am happy with the cape. It isn’t taffeta more like shiny lining material. I am woman size 16 and it gapes at the front, but for the price paid compared to plastic ones for around the same price I am happy with it, its for fun for fancy dress.
