Nice costume just right for my grandsons school play and good size he’s 5 but on the small size so a 4-6 is perfect for him. For the price it’s good value and I think well made just need a sword now to go with it. What ever happened to sheets and silver foil like when we were at school or my kids were at school never brought ready made stuff then !!! Awww I liked making them but I was told all the children were getting these !!! so here it is buy one for quickness you will be pleased..

Bought this for my son for his christmas school play, he is 7 and it fitted very well. Only one problem with it the arm pieces rubbed on his skin so he didnt wear them. He was very happy with his costume and it lasted for dress rehearsal and two performances. Most of the other roman soldiers in the play also had this costume and it looked very good.

There wasn’t much information available on sizing at the time of purchase, but fortunately the medium size fitted a 122cm tall 6 year-old perfectly. The outfit comprises a knee-length nylon tee-shirt, with a felt over-skirt and wrist cuffs (velcro fastening), and a gold elasticated felt headdress. One of the strips on the felt skirt came off after being trodden on in rehearsal, but it was easily fixed. We put a t-shirt and football shorts under it for warmth.Overall good value given was only destined to be worn three times!

I wasn’t too sure what to expect considering the low price of this item, but I’m very impressed. My son had to go dressed up for Roman day and this was perfect. The arm things were a bit itchy but overall I was very pleased with the size and quality of the item.

Great. just what I was looking for. Only thing I would say is they are small fitting. My son is a small 8 year old and it just fits. I ordered size 8-10 had he been any bigger then it would be a tight fit.

I like the costume but a bit small considering I bought it for my 7 yr old son and it did not get to his knees at all. Arrived much earlier than expected and good value for money.

Much better than I was expecting. I bought this for a Roman day at school. The tunic is stretchy polyester, the armbands go on with velcro, as does the ‘skirt’ bit, and the head piece has elastic for a good fit. I bought the 8-10 years size for my very tall 8-year old, and it’s perfect on him (maybe a touch big, which is what I wanted). My expectations were pretty low for the price, but I have been very pleasantly surprised, as has my son.

Good for the price. Material of tunic is classic for children’s dress up (think Halloween costumes). Cuffs and belt are felt secured with velcro but of good fit. My son is 81/2 and it fits well overall. He’s decided to wear his school trousers as he’s not happy about wearing a “dress” to school but wants to be a Roman for his portals of the past topic
