I ordered a size 5-6yrs it was huge more like a 9-10yrs old, it can’t be adjusted as it’s an all in one (with removable head piece) good costume otherwise just hoped it was true to size as it was for world book day 2020

My son absolutely LOVES this! He didnt want to take it off. I went by the reviews and ordered the age 5-6 and it fits him perfectly (he’s just turned 8 and is tall ish and slim). The only downside is that after just one wash the ears on the head dress have come apart as it’s just a piece of foam stuck to a thin bit of mesh. I’ve also noticed that the stitching is starting to pull a bit in the seat area but that be because he’s ran, hopped, jumped and torpedoed himself around in it! I will buy another when this ones had it as that’s how much he’s into it. I’ll just ensure it goes on a super light wash next time. Good buy!

This is a brilliant item and they only had age 8-10 ,but it he’s a tall nearly 6 year old and I knew it would need taking up but it was big enough for my husband who’s 6 foot

Great costume. Bear in mind it’s American sizes, ordered 8-10 which is actually a 12-14 so alot bigger than expected

This was a birthday present for an 8 year old. She opened it today to reveal an enormous costume! She loves it, but it will be years before it fits her!

My son absolutely loves Sonic and wanted a Sonic costume having bought Rubie’s costumes before and not had problems I went for this one. I brought the bigger size as he’s big for his age with the hopes of his getting a good wear out of it. Turns out for this to fit he would have needed to have grown into an adult overnight. It’s huge! It’s even too big for my oldest son who is in 8/9 years clothes. The costume was fab and great quality. However the sizing was quite big for my son and he ended up ripping the feet part of the costume as he was tripping over it. Would definitely say more 9-10 than 8-9 so bare in mind sizes when ordering. Delivery was fast and kept up to date via email. Cracking costume if you size up correctly
