   Although the item was delivered really quickly i found i it to be nothing like the photo. It looks like there is plenty of material in it when actually there isn’t. My daughter is an average 11 year old, i bought her the size that should be suitable for an 11-14 year old. There was no gather in it, it was very slim fitting, plus the material just clung to her. The black belt looks effective on the photo but in reality the black part of the belt was only narrow and didn’t even reach the sides if her waist. As for the hat, the part that fit’s over the head is tiny like a skull cap, there is no way it would just sit on her head even if she stood still in it. I know people say you only get what u pay for but i had read reviews and it seemed like a bargain. I hat to find something else for my daughter to wear for this themed day in school. This outfit is now just sat the in the packet, i wouldn’t even give it away, unless it was for a 5 year old, then it might be a better fit !

   Great, simple and well priced costume. My daughter was mrs fezziwig in Scrooge the musical and this costume was perfect. The hat is shallow so I sowed red ribbon to the “hem” of the cap part, tied this in a lovely bow and it looked perfect. Also as material is thin my daughter wore a fuller type short skirt to act as a petticoat beneath the dress to push the skirt out.We got black lace gloves from Claire’s accessories. It would be helpful if the supplier could also sell them though.

   Got the largest size for my daughter as she’s very tall! It fitted in length but hardly in width, if your child is chunky like mine the belt won’t fit but looks ok without. This was for a titanic themed day in her school and she looked great as a first class passenger

   Speedy delivery. Thanks for that, the dress is ok will do the job although I wouldn’t say it looks Victorian. The only thing that let it down really was the hat it didn’t sit on head had to attach red ribbon to keep it on. But for the price you get the dress hat and belt so am happy with that

   Bought this for my daughter’s Victorian day at school, was nice for what we needed it for, there was a part in the belt where the stitching had come apart but other that was nice. There is no gloves with the dress and hat a bit awkward size.

   My daughter had to dress as a first class titanic passenger for school but I didn’t want to spend loads of money on something for her to wear once. This was perfect and she looked amazing. My only moan is the hat didn’t stay on very well and a slight breeze and it fell off.

   Wonderful
