Ordered this for dreaded “Roman dress up day” for my daughter. It had the advantage of being the costume that no one else ordered from amazon, one with a red sash was very dominant, other people’s mums being as uninspired to make one themselves as I was, and this dress served its purpose well. It looks pretty well as per the picture, the fabric is a cheap synthetic one but it still looks nice on – though it’s quite transparent so make sure plain white pants are worn!It is probably more Greek looking than Roman, but my daughter liked it and as it was elasticated it would fit a range of builds well I would think. The headband was quite good quality too. It washed well at low temperature so will be used again for the youngest’s dress up day, fit a small 9 year old I would say it’s age 8 length. Little bit pricey for the quality, hence four stars, but it’s not a bad costume should you have the need for one.

Unsure of sizes so we went for the large. Daughter wears age 9-10 clothing. It isn’t the widest of dresses but fitted her perfectly and skimmed the ground without shoes on. Looked perfect. Happy child.

The dress looks really nice on our daughter, just a shame about the marks on the dress and the headband being different to what is advertised. My daughter loves the dress but doesn’t like the headband. She wanted the one that was pictured on the original listing.
