This costume is good value for the money, however, although it was sized to be adequate for a 11 to 12 year old it comes up quite small for a typical British 11 to 12 year old. I would say it was more suitable for an 8 to 10 year old unless the child is a little small for their age.

My son needed a costume for Tudor dress up at school, and this was the only reasonably priced one I could find at that time. It’s a nice outfit, but the sizing is terrible. It was supposed to be Large, but I beg to differ. My son is an average 9 year old, and the trousers were way too short for him… he will definitely not be able to wear it again. Maybe I can recoup some of the cost back by selling it on.

Bought this for my son as his school was going out to a local Tudor house for the day. We wanted the Tudor dressing up costume but they did not have the size we needed, this was the same costume but in the right size. Day went well and Henry 7th was very pleased.

I bought this for my daughter for a school play, she’s 10 years old and although she’s fairly tall, she’s by no means the tallest in her class. Ordered the 9-12 years and the trousers were more like cropped trousers. Luckily she was wearing boots as part of her costume, so just tucked the trousers in. On the plus side, delivery was very quick & the price not bad. Overall, she looked great and was happy with the outfit.

Bought for school Tudor day. My son wanted to look like a wealthy Tudor but didn’t want a fussy looking outfit. This fitted the bill.It looked fantastic on, although it felt rather nylony, it was great value.I bought the large size which I would say was suitable for 8-10 yr old.My son was very happy with it.

Got this for son, world book day.. Great value although does appear more pink than photo shows. Not sure if he will wear on the day because of the colour

My little boy needed an outfit for a Romeo and Juliet themed day at school. This was perfect for him for a single day use. The only one thing I’d say is that it looks darker in the picture. It the right light the Crimson looks pinkish.

Nice quality top. Trousers are on the tight side and easily split. Make sure you get it a size up.
