   Couple of issues with this dress. Fabric used is fine but back of dress is a different colour than the front and the skirt which isn’t ideal. Had to wash it and the scottie dog is printed on and has bled a bit where I had to rub a small stain.Got it for my grand-daughter’s 6th birthday and she loves it, has hardly taken it off since. Size-wise, she is 116cm tall, we purchased the 116 to 122cm and it’s generously sized so it will last her a long time. She does look very cute in it and I guess the main thing is that she is happy.At the end of the day it is for playing in and was a reasonable price so we’re not too upset by the issues we have found.

   Bought as gift for daughter as she was dressing as Dorothy from the wizard of oz, at school. It fitted well, she is quite petite so I added a panel to raise the neckline slightly, otherwise she would have been a bit chilly. Quality is reasonable, what you would expect for a relatively inexpensive dressing up outfit. Has washed up fine and I lightly tumble dried it. The bow on the headband fell off partially after one wear however it can easily be fastened back on when I get round to it.

   Bought this for my daughters first Xmas concert. I wish I could rate this 5 stars because my little girl just adores it and wears it all the time but two things really let it down. Firstly the red ribbon on the dog design frayed pretty much straight away and keeps getting worse. Secondly, other reviewers have mentioned the very wide/loose neckline. It doesn’t matter much around the house as my daughter always wears it over her normal clothes but for the concert it was originally bought for I had to make sure she wore a white tshirt underneath as it slips off her shoulder all the time. All that said, it’s a good fit, my daughter has just turned 4- the size 3/4 still has plenty of room and this is her favourite dressing up outfit. It’s been through the wash 3 times now and apart from the red ribbon fraying still looks pretty good. For the price, I won’t really complain!

   I needed a dress for a show in which performers had to be characters from a book. As this was a one-off I was annoyed with the amount of money I was being asked for sophisticated costumes that were going to be shelved after a single use. I just wanted to do it on the cheap but not to the point in which a child is embarrassed to wear it. I added pimsols that I covered in red glitter and silver stars. It was a hit. It outdid every single costume on the stage although this was not the intention. All of this for about a tenner, not bad for a child’s happiness (at least for two-hours straight!).

   Lovely little dress, made of nice material, in the reviews I read, a couple of people complained about the material on the back of the dress being a different shade from the rest, this is true but still I thought it looked great, shows how old the film was, in the reviews it did also say that the red bow fell off the dog, this is also true but the dress still looked good, it didnt really make a difference! My advice is if your looking for a more modern look, don’t purchase this item, but if you not too fussed, go for it…..My little girl loved it & looked gorgeous in it!….I’m happy 🙂

   Like many other parents I need a costume fast for world book day dressing up at school for my 5 year old daughter. Many of the costumes are so expensive and reading the reviews not great quality.This little gem passes for a great Wizard of Oz Dorothy and is at a great price, with Amazon Prime it arrived next day. Brilliant!We ordered a medium which was the right size for my 5 year old.The dress was of ‘OK’ quality for a costume as most of them are of questionable quality. whilst thin material it’s not so thin that it doesn’t hold it’s shape or anything, and it’s not see-through. The headband fitted nicely also.As it’s winter I will put a vest under and also white tights as it’s not very warm.The only downside is the white material at the front which forms the bib part on the chest, it is not gathered enough and hangs a bit loosely, but that is easily fixed with a needle and thread or if you have more of a clue some new elastic.Overall I was pleased with this at around a tenner.[…] Thank you.

   Really sweet dress which was perfect for book day at my daughter’s school. I got large which fitted my 10 year old perfectly. For the price I would say that this is good enough quality. It’s not going to last forever but it won’t fall apart in a day either (after wearing at school for a day, it still looks fab). If you want something hard wearing then this isn’t the one. But for a fancy dress which won’t be won often, you really can’t go wrong.
