I bought this for my 6 and a half year old and it fits. Admittedly she’s tall for her age but I think the age statement like many other clothing items is not that appropriate. Having said that, it was great item in that it was what we expected, came promptly and we were proud to see my daughter in it for the school play.

After seeing other reviews saying to go up a size, I’m very glad I did! Bought this for my 7 year old sister for her “Greek Day” at school. She’s not a huge kid but this size fitted her just right, though a little long. She says it’s really handy having it in two parts as it makes going to the toilet a lot easier!

Bought this as alternative outfit for our daughter’s Greek play (I wasn’t sure how long each of her outfits would take to arrive as I ordered them so near to Black Friday however this arrived really quickly). The outfit is lovely and very pretty for the price however it is best suited to slim children as the criss cross pattern on the top part doesn’t really allow for much stretching and makes the item very fitted. Great for some kids but not for us as we needed a little bit more room. It also come with the crown as shown.

I ordered this from amazon warehouse as new but not in original packaging – it wasn’t new – it had clearly been worn and returned and there was no headband so I can’t review that. The outfit itself was very pretty and a good fit for size, note it is rather slim fitting though! I bought it as one use for a school play. However, daughter wouldn’t wear it as not only was it ‘pre-worn’ it was quite sheer and you could see her underwear through it. It’s the cheap thin static fuelled fabric they use on cheap market stall £1.99 underskirts – and it pulls and marks easily. The floaty arm bits are deceiving in the image, they are about 3 inches wide and need ironing and still look like laces not drapes.I guess overall it’s ok if your child isn’t too self conscious and it’s a one use thing but quite expensive for a disposable costume. Looks better at a distance
