We loved this donkey costume, it’s really impactful, good enough quality and sizing was accurate. The reason for dropping a star, was that the head almost completely obscures the face of the child wearing it, which would be fine if it was just something for the dressing up box, but for a performance a little disappointing, our solution was that the chid came in wearing it to have an impact at the beginning, and then took it off for the rest of the show.

The head doesn’t seem to attach very well but it still did great for my son’s nativity play!

The size arrived in a package marked size large. However, it was anything but a size large. It was intended for a 9 year old, and my 6year old is wearing it because it isn’t big enough for my 8 year old who is actually the one that is a donkey in a school play!

Ok so the good:Looks amazing, probably the best I have seen.Well made and fits size wise according to the description.The bad:It’s just about impractical for a school play as the child wearing it will rapidly reach temperatures rarely found outside a volcano.The child’s head goes into the donkey head with little room for air. So if they have any lines or songs they will struggle to be heard.The gloves look great but again add to the thermal issue.All in all a lovely costume but with a serious flaw. I had to buy a cheaper one after trying this one out with my child.

This is a great costume! A bit on the dear side but it is well made and looks much better than any other donkey costume I’ve seen. The ‘large’ size is misleading. I bought it for my 6 year old who is 126cm tall and it fits perfectly, with perhaps another two years growing room. ‘Medium’ is a better size rating. Some reviews say the head is too big, but I think it’s a perfect size!

The size was so small I didn’t have time to reorder before the nativity so had to make do and try to adapt it the best I could!

Lovely quality but very small, says 12 years but my granddaughter is only 8 and just fitted.
