This is a very good quality hat made from felt and when my order was almost messed up by the Royal Mail I found the company who supplied it very helpful. I suspect that the Royal Mail had been using my hat as a football in their warehouse or had flattened it under a pile of other parcels because it was way past the delivery date when it arrived. When it arrived I opened it and was disappointed by all the dents in it. However, having left it on a table in a warm room for a couple of hours, it totally restored itself without the need to steam or do anything to it. I had a lovely time wearing it and would highly recommend it to all wannabe Pirate Captains, its virtually indestructible and exceedingly good value for money.

Very much into costumes and wanted a realistic black tricorn hat. I’m a 5ft 4 female of slim build and it looked like I had Sydney Opera House atop my head! I gave it to my 6ft 2 male friend and it suited him much better. The fabric and durability are good and the crown is nice and deep.However, the velcro patches that hold each part of the brim in place are not even so you have a larger ‘peak’ at the front and a tricorn should be equal on all 3 sides. Also, I got the brown one from same company and the size of brim is smaller, tricorn is equal all way round and crown is not as deep but circumference is same as black one. I prefer size/shape of brown one and always wear over a wig. If you’re female or your swede is small you’ll need a scarf or wig beneath.

It’s a good hat for money a little big for a female .but you could always alternit inside with paper .

Good quality for dressing-up box. Worked perfectly for the Doctor Syn Halloween outfit. Slightly on the small side for me, but then, one size, unfortunately, never fits all. Happy customer.

Bought for a Sea of Thieves cosplay, ideal and cartoony without looking over-the-top.Velcro holds came off after a few small knocks unfortunately, so would recommend supergluing them on or even better stitching. One of my favourite items in my costume box now!

The hat has velcro on three places to hold it in the distinctive tricorn shape, but they do not stick together leaving an unshapely, floppy hat that looks nothing like it should.
