I purchased this for my son for a school dress up day. He absolutely loved it and was really excited to try it on. It fits well, is easy to move about in and seemed quite sturdy. I had read some reviews about the plastic boot covers smelling, and they did, but after a bit of airing they don’t seem to be a problem. The velcro belt was rather large and needed some adjustments, but my little boy is very skinny!A really good dressing up costume and hopefully will still fit him next year!

I bought this for my 3 and half year old for a theme day at his nursery. Considering this was the value costume, the quality was much better than I was expecting. My son is only little and is wearing clothes aged 2-3, so the majority of this costume were a bit too big – the tunic and trousers were a little long, but looked fine once the the legs and sleeves were turned up inside. The boot covers and wrist cuff were far too big, so left them off, but he’ll grow into them with rest of the costume. One bit that was disappointing was the “chainmail” balaclava-type hood. This was far too small for my little boy and we couldn’t get it on his head properly, and it even left a red mark around his face. It may be that the wrong hood was packed in the costume, as the sizing of this did not seem consistent with the rest of the costume, but there is no way it would fit a 5 year old (and my son doesn’t seem to have a particularly big head!). Luckily we already have a knight’s helmet that he’ll be able to wear with it instead.

It’s very cheaply made but does look good on and is true to size (my son is an above-average-height four year old and it fits him comfortably). I had to stitch the ‘chain mail’ bits into the seams of the lining in a few places on the sleeves where they had been missed by the machine and were hanging loose. Would’ve considered sending it back for an exchange if we hadn’t needed it urgently for a party but, that said, it was a reasonably minor repair and my son was very happy with the costume. He has worn it quite a lot for dressing up since. It has lots of bits to it (i.e. trousers, tunic, boot covers, belt, hood) and the cape also doubles up usefully when he wants to play superheros!

Bought this for our son for (yet another!) school history dress-up day. Arrived next day (thank you Amazon Prime!) and is – as others have said – lovely quality… the white tunic is very thin, but absolutely fine. The whole costume just feels – and looks – really good. Our son – who is 140cm tall and skinny as a rake – looks great and is really pleased. We bought the 134-146cm size. Now he wants a sword though and – as someone else said – that doesn’t come with the costume, despite the photo – at this price I wouldn’t expect it to be included and prefer a higher quality costume, but it probably should state that the sword isn’t included.

my son loved this for his prince and princesses day at preschool i just added a crown and a sward and shild and sent him as prince arther! i brought the small size and my son is 4 and is a bit long on him but means it will give him lots of growing room! really good price as it includes everything in the pic but the sawrd! im really impressed with the boot covers i attached them to my sons wellies wich worked really well would defuntly recomend this only thing ive not yet put it to a washing machine test yet but it seams good qulity and i think it will survive quite well defuntly value for money will be having a look for other costumes in this range!

Nice costume but when it came the boot covers were missing. I contacted the seller to advise this and explained, they asked if I could send a photo…my phone had broken so I could not upload a photo to send them and because I could not do that we lost out. I thought they would have looked at another item in stock and just sent them on. Luckily as it was for my daughter she can wear long black boots with it, but felt short changed as we only got 80 per cent of a costume so do not know if it had been a return. Other than that she wore it at Kynren – an epic tale of England…we are part of the cast and we entertain people after the show while waiting for buses, so it was a great costume and would have got more stars had it been complete

Very pleased with this knight’s costume, I bought it for my son for halloween and after looking at several different costumes we chose this one. The sizing is accurate and the price was very reasonable considering you get the tunic, boot covers, cape and hood. I was very pleased with the quality, the costume looks a lot more expensive than it was. We bought a matching shield and sword elsewhere and it went very well.
